Master’s Description

I face the problems as opportunities given by life to grow and become better. I graduated in Management in 2004, although I was not sure that was the path I should take – because working was cooler. Now I know it was the right choice! 🙂 Until today, I have been working in management, in all its areas. For 10 years I dedicated myself to the company where I started as an intern and was a teacher from 8th to 12th grade. At a certain time,  a new stage of my professional life begins. An opportunity arises and, with it, the change: from working almost isolated to a team and cooperative work. An experience that confirms that dedication and the willing to learn and to be better are the steps to walk towards the right direction.

Now, at E-goi, I apply every lesson life has taught me and, even more grateful, I get to share all those experiences with my team, receiving in exchange the trust that everything can always be much better!

Master’s Description

“It always seems impossible until it’s done!” – I’ve known this quote by Nelson Mandela since I was a child, influenced by my father, who emigrated to South Africa in 1990 seeking better conditions to our family. And by my mother, who assumed the task to take care and educate two children. They inspired me to believe that everything is reachable as long as we do it with passion and dedication.

That was when I learned the secret to have a full life… start, since early, having incentives and interactions that allow us to evolve as humans and as professionals. In my case, based on values such as humility, work, mutual help. These values are also present in sports – my passion as a federated sportsman.

I innovated when I decided to become a professional sports manager. However, the interest for education, investigation and knowledge sharing made me become a college teacher at 23 years old and a national and international speaker. Two years later, marketing comes into my life – never to leave again – when I started working as the marketing director of a professional football club. This experience taught me how to work with zero budget and how to value all the resources, to be able to manage people and businesses, nationally and internationally, over 100M€.

I started working at E-goi as a Brand Ambassador & Product Advocate to bring the academic and business worlds together. My professional and personal conduct has been guided by a lot of diplomacy, education and cordiality, that is why I consider myself as a process facilitator, passing on pride to the new Egoianos!

And… my biggest achievement will always be, with no doubts, my family: my wife and two kids. And never forget… It may seem impossible until you can do it! 😉

InnovationWe promote sustainable growth for the company, exploring new ideias and analyzing all aspects of the business, until the materialization of the product / project. We use the “How can we innovate?” instead of the “Why innovate?”, to get better each day.

Investigation & Development Daily challenges allow us to be in constant learning, searching for multidisciplinary technical and scientific knowledge and we also have freedom to explore new approaches, not forgetting the evolution of the state of art.

Artificial Intelligence – We work on innovative projects with artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict dropouts, product recommendations, detect spam/phishing, among others.

Team Environment With a relaxed team environment, we stimulate the excellence, union and mutual help, because these are the basis for the success of the projects we work on and cooperate with.

Internship Program We welcome dozens of students from different areas (engineering, marketing, design, etc) with projects that help us move up to next level. We do not like internships “just because” or projects that “stay in the drawer”. Here, the interns do not come (just) to get coffees 🙂.

Mentoring – Since the reception, there is a mentoring to promote personal and professional growth of the team and the interns. We also delegate with trust and expect commitment and responsibility.

Goickathon – Every year, we organize a multidisciplinary innovation event, where we think, design and create new products with elements of all departments.

Master’s Description

“Smile for life and life will smile you back” – This is my moto not only in my personal life but also in my professional life and I believe that success is just a consequence of our attitudes.

I am a dad, a husband, very happy and fulfilled, super energetic and, as a good latino, I live life intensely.

I have training in Marketing and Advertising from the Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil (PUC) and I started my professional life in 2001, while in college, at an event company. Em 2004, I was invited to work at a Promotional Marketing agency, which led me, a year later, to an Experience Marketing agency. In 2008, I moved to Portugal and that was when my love story with E-goi and Digital Marketing started.

When I joined, E-goi was just a baby taking its first steps and we were a team of not much more than 10 people. We went through several adventures, challenges and achievements to get where we are today and I am really proud to be part of this family.

I am a technology lover and I have two natural talents: buy crazy stuff on Chinese websites and write Saint John’s poems.

We have identity – We do not use stock images. We draw our own illustrations and produce our pictures, always with our personal touch.

Autonomy and Agility – Do you know those government offices that take days to make a decision because they need a meeting or signature? That is forbidden here!

Union, Good Mood and a lot of energy – Everyday is a different and demanding day. We are happy, we always work together and give our best to overcome the obstacles.

Master’s Description

With training in Marketing Management, all my professional experience has been connected to Digital Marketing and to the proximity to who develops the final product, which made me become a self-taught “hybrid”, who looks for the best possible balance between technology and business.

As a leader, I try to have a team of young people full of potencial, balanced with the “stars” that are the best at their position.

I am a supporter of a Customer Centric Product culture to create solutions in real time to users, not to develop just because someone opened an issue. I try that my teams concern the most about the results, through the commitment with assertive goals and measurable results.

We know we are not a software house with every answer since 1962 but our feet are on the ground and not on the carousel of uncertainty that most of startups live in. Ah! And no, we do not have ball pools or slides…

Start Hard, Evolve Fast – Hard challenges are face with an “experiment, fail, learn, reset” attitude. There is no room to “bla bla bla”. Someone new, can have in their hands something truly disruptive, with the help of the masters.

Autonomy and Focus – Small Teams Win. Autonomous teams, of about 5 elements each, decide what to do to improve their product and achieve the results.

Users Come First – Everyday, our goal is to improve users‘ lives. We work with multidisciplinary teams, com technical skills and business vision. We are constantly learning, evolving and acquiring knowledge,

We do not waste time with bureaucracies – We do not practice Agile, we are Agile. Repetitive tasks or boring processes are targets to eliminate. We do not have perfect solutions at first try but we grow and improve daily.

I have done a little bit of everything in the digital/online world. The common point is the proximity to the customers. My mission is to help them solve their problems. That is what inspires me everyday: knowing that I made someone’s day better and that I contributed with value to E-goi’s goals.

I feel that E-goi runs in my veins. My relationship with this project is based on love and dedication, which motivates me to overcome daily challenges and present results for the company.

I worry about the well being of each employee, in and out the company. I know that is the only way to move on and face the problems.

I am pleased to know that each day we present results and that, as a team, we are on the same boat, for better and worse. Working in cooperation and not being “closed in our own world” is fundamental. I consider the exigency as a path towards constant and reciprocal improvement.

To talk about my journey, the places I worked at, the challenges, the growth and the learning is to talk about E-goi. My career and journey are E-goi. 

Over a decade helping E-goi growing but, most of all, over a decade of E-goi helping me grow and learn everyday.

Enthusiastic team. Dedicated. Consistent. Everyday, for many years and always with the same goal: helping the greatest companies to be the best, the most relevant, to grow and to relate more truthfully.

That is what inspires us, daily and genuinely. We believe in what we do. And the clients feel that too. That is why we retain customers and create long-term relationships.

When we started, we were 6 young people full of that startup spirit: full of ideas, will and very dynamic. But do you know what is the best of all, after so long? It is that we are still the same, with the same energy and will. Young? Some of us only in spirit! 🙂
