How Credibom Enhanced Communication Security and Optimized Internal Processes
Credibom expanded its digital journey with marketing automation, registered transactional messages, and custom projects developed by E-goi.
About the company
Wholly owned by one of Europe’s largest banking groups, Crédit Agricole, Credibom is a bank specializing in consumer credit and a reference in auto financing in Portugal. It offers clients and partners flexible, transparent credit solutions tailored to their needs. With over 25 years in Portugal, Banco Credibom provides personalized and transparent advice, finding the best solution for each case.

The challenge
Banco Credibom, focused on the needs of Portuguese consumers, seeks to offer a wide range of products with a high level of service, quick decision-making, flexibility, and simple processes. Therefore, it was looking for a tool that would allow it to send communications to its clients in an automated, personalized, and secure manner. However, the solutions available in the market had limitations in service delivery or were too expensive.
Credibom needed to ensure regular communications, prioritizing speed and simplicity, aiming for a fully digital journey with high quality.
To attract new clients, the bank also aimed to send personalized communications. However, it needed to ensure that messages were automated and sent in phases. The goal was to guarantee the quality of service provided to clients by the team of financial managers, through personalized service.
With objectives set, Credibom faced the challenge of finding a provider in the market that could meet all communication needs within a suitable budget and centralized on a single platform.
The solution
The year 2014 marked the beginning of the partnership between E-goi and Credibom, with email and SMS sends for occasional campaigns. Later, the partnership was expanded, with a total migration of marketing services to the E-goi ecosystem.
Registered Message
Security and Agility
One of the services used by Credibom is Registered Message. Also known as “registered messages,” these transactional communications send payment notifications, procedural alerts, and other official messages or documents by email or SMS, with legal validity.
Communications that were traditionally sent physically are now digital, storing data such as message content, sender, recipient, date/time of sending, delivery, and opening, with the possibility of managing all information 100% online.

The client creates an account on the Credibom platform and then makes a 100% online credit request.

Credibom analyzes the situation and, if approved, sends an official registered communication to the client.

The E-goi platform, in the “Registered Message” mode, stores all the information present in the communication.

A document with legal validity for 10 years is generated, certified by Multicert, with all the data to guarantee the security of the company and the client.
Registered Message offers greater security to the process of sending formal communications between companies and clients, with full process management by Credibom. Messages and documents that previously took days to reach the recipient, considering printing and sending time, are now sent in seconds. The digitalization of the process also results in a cost reduction of about 93.4% compared to sending the same communication by physical mail.

Autonomous Team and Optimized Processes

In addition to Registered Message, Credibom uses other services from the E-goi ecosystem, such as software that includes mass email and SMS marketing, landing pages, web push, and more than 20 channels and features for the complete sales funnel.
Expanding the use of the platform, which integrates all services and channels, including external software, allowed the Credibom team to become more autonomous. Centralizing communications in E-goi facilitated the management of the entire marketing strategy, for more assertive planning and execution.
Marketing automation, which connects all these channels, also reduced the time invested by these teams in creating campaigns and manual sends. With triggers, campaigns are sent automatically, according to the information captured from subscribers and their respective behaviors.

One of the company’s challenges was to send a large volume of communications, in an automated but phased manner. The goal was to avoid overloading the sales team. Therefore, to meet these needs, E-goi developed a new custom feature that split sends into X per X hours, with a single scheduling.
